please let me know the procedures for attending lectures and special events
thanks,
Birdie
Hello Birdie,
Sorry for not responding earlier, but I just returned from travel.
There are no special procedures. The lectures are free and open to the public. You may consult the website periodically or get on our mailing list (Orionastronomy@yahoogroups.com) to get the announcements. Also, we advertise in local newspapers. The lectures are typically on the 1st Wednesday of the month at 7 PM in the Grove Theater and the Tamke-Allan Observatory regularly has free public nights on the 1st and 3rd Saturdays of the month, also starting at 7 PM (and usually lasting to midnight). More information on this, and any special events will be posted to the website as well as circulated on the list-serve mentioned above.
Thank you for your interest and we hope to see you soon,
John
